A young couple re-locating from Europe to New York City purchased a two-bedroom apartment and asked Daedalus Workshop to improve the out-dated Kitchen and Master Bathroom.
We proposed to completely demolish the Kitchen and replace the wall between the Kitchen and Living area with a 10′ long custom-designed Cooking Island with ample counter and storage space open to the Dining area. Simply adding a dropped soffit with concealed LED lighting from the Entry around to the Kitchen, along with carefully chosen pendant lights over the Island and Dining table, provides a fresh look that transforms the overall apartment without fully renovating the entire unit.
